SafeGuard Value

PROGRAMS OFFERED:

a. SafeGuard Value coverage includes: phone and web support, remote software updates, and remote training. In-house repair, parts/labor, box/shipping, loaner, and on-site support are not covered under the terms of the Value program and will be subject to the billable rates then in effect.

b. SafeGuard Parts/Labor coverage includes: phone and web support, remote software updates, remote training, and in-house repair (parts/labor). Box/shipping, loaner, and on-site support are not covered under the terms of the Parts/Labor program and will be subject to the billable rates then in effect.

c. SafeGuard Premium coverage includes: phone and web support, remote software updates, remote training, in-house repair (parts/labor), box/shipping, loaner (subject to availability), and on-site support.

Telephone/High Speed Internet Support: From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday, except for National and Company holidays, Customers may call Advanced Technology Technical Support at 1-866-922-6278, email at TMSService@topcon.com, or submit a web request at topconhealthcare.com/safeguard. A technical support specialist will determine the course of action and provide telephone or internet support. If the failure of any hardware requires more than phone or internet support, the service representative will advise on the course of action to be taken.

Software Support: Topcon’s representatives will assist the Customer in expanding the system’s capabilities, improving the system’s functionality, and suggesting enhancements to increase its overall performance. The Customer must provide a high-speed internet connection to the digital imaging system in order to receive this support. Extended support time due to failure to provide remote connection can result in billable charges.

Software Updates: The Customer will receive software updates as they are released by Topcon. The Customer must provide a high-speed internet connection to the digital imaging system to obtain the software updates. Onsite updates are only covered under the SafeGuard Premium package.
